11. Toxicological Information

- Inhalation:

Low vapor concentrations cause irritation of the respiratory tract, causing. coughing and slight difficulty with breathing. Higher concentrations produce more severe irritation, and may be accompanied by nausea, fatigue, weakness, euphoria, drowsiness.

- Skin:

May produce mild reddening of the skin. Prolonged contact may produce a drying and fissuring due to a defatting action.

- Eyes:

Vapour is mildly irritating.

- Ingestion:

Slightly toxic. Ingestion of moderate quantities may cause abdominal  discomfort, nausea and drowsiness.

12. Ecological Information

BODY 804 ANTISILICON is almost  insoluble in water and will float on the surface. It could cause a fire or explosion if a large spill drained into a sewer system and would be highly toxic to fish if discharged to natural waters. Avoid discharge to sewers or waterways! At very low concentration in water(about 10 ppm) is biodegradability in biological wastewater treatment plant.
