11. Toxicological Information

- Inhalation:

Low vapour concentrations cause irritation of the respiratory tract, causing coughing and slight difficulty with breathing. Higher concentrations produce more severe irritation, and may be accompanied by nausea, fatigue, weakness, euphoria, drowsiness, double vision, ataxia, and coma.

- Skin:

May produce mild reddening of the skin. Prolonged contact may produce a drying and fissuring due to a defatting action.

- Eyes:

Vapour is mildly irritating. Liquid produces chemical conjunctivitis with mild transient corneal injury.

- Ingestion:

Slightly toxic. Ingestion of moderate quantities may cause abdominal  discomfort, nausea and drowsiness. In high concentrations is narcotic.

12. Ecological Information

BODY 420 LV  THINNER is almost  insoluble in water and will float on the surface. It could cause a fire or explosion if a large spill drained into a sewer system and would be highly toxic to fish if discharged to natural waters. Avoid discharge to sewers or waterways! At very low water concentrations it can be treated in biological wastewater treatment plants.

13. Disposal Considerations

Methods of disposal:

Controlled incineration.

Danger(s):

Emptied vase contain solvent vapours, hazardous in respect of fire, explosion and noxiousness. Dispose only to licensed vase reconditioners.
