Toxicological Information |
-
Inhalation: |
Low vapor concentrations cause irritation of the respiratory tract,
causing. coughing and slight difficulty with breathing. Higher
concentrations produce more severe irritation, and may be accompanied by
nausea, fatigue, weakness, euphoria, drowsiness, double vision, ataxia and
coma. |
-
Skin: |
May produce mild reddening of the skin. Prolonged contact may produce
drying and fissuring due to defatting
action. |
-
Eyes: |
Vapor is mildly irritating. Liquid produces chemical conjunctivitis
with mild transient corneal injury. |
-
Ingestion: |
Slightly toxic. Ingestion of moderate quantities may cause abdominal
discomfort, nausea and drowsiness. |

Ecological Information |
BODY
ETCH PRIMER is almost insoluble in water and will float on the surface. It could
cause a fire or explosion if a large spill drained into a sewer system and
would be toxic to fish if discharged to natural waters. Avoid discharge to
sewers or waterways! It is biodegradable in very low concentrations in
water (about 10 ppm) in biological wastewater treatment plants. |
