Toxicological Information |
-
Inhalation: |
Low vapour concentrations cause irritation of the respiratory tract,
causing coughing and slight difficulty with breathing. |
-
Skin: |
The absorption of toxic quantities through the skin of the hand and
forearms is unlikely. Nevertheless, the solvent tends to extract the
natural oils normally present and
can cause subsequent cracking of the skin which may in turn cause
infection. |
-
Eyes: |
Vapour is irritating, may cause reddening. |
-
Ingestion: |
Toxic. |

from occupied areas allowed to evaporate into the atmosphere. The rest
take up mechanically. |
Danger(s): |
